Tomorrow's People

ZEE-MAANNEH, ZEE-MAANNEH, “WHO’S MOVING AND WHO’S DROPPING” The Liberia Media for Democratic Initiatives (LMDI), the owner and facilitator of the LMDI National Academic Challenge Competition (LMDI-NACC) extends gratitude to its well-wishers for ensuring the success of YEAR FOUR (4) and the start of Year Five (5)  of its National General Knowledge Quizzing Competition across the nation.

The LMDI wishes to inform the public that it will hold the long-delayed GRAND FINALS of its set of National Academic Challenge Competitions (LMDI-NACC) or National General Pop Quizzing on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the Monrovia Christian Fellowship  at 9th Street Sinkor, near the Headquarters of the National Elections Commission.

The LMDI-NACC or National General Knowledge Pop Quizzing Year Four (4) GRAND FINALS will bring together Eight (8) teams of the three (3) categories, the GENERAL, ALL GIRLS, and JUNIOR HIGH  from around the nation. The GRAND FINALIST of the GENERAL Category of the LMDI-NACC is paused to benefit from a set of Solar Panel lighting systems provided by WEST COAST Inc. a Liberian-owned solar system provider as the LMDI  searches and appeals for prizes and awards for the other categories.

The LMDI GRAND FINALS of the LMDI-NACC come after the long-delayed thriving qualifying rounds of the General Knowledge Pop Quizzing around the nation. The FINALS were delayed by the outbreak of the CORONA VIRUS DISEASE (COVID 19) and the general lack of support for the exercise aimed at ensuring academic excellence through competition in an otherwise messy education system.

COME ONE, COME ALL on Tuesday, August 12, 2022, to the GRAND FINALS of the LMDI-NACC or General Knowledge Quizzing Competition and watch your children academically play toward academic excellence in Liberia.

JOHN O. KOLLIE

Director, Liberia Media for Democratic Initiatives (LMDI)
